Warlock is a 3rd class job based on the wizard class that expands their repertoire of power on AOE and single target magic spells. Warlock can cast self-buffs [positive buffs], curses [negative buffs] and use book spells for instant cast. Some magics have special useful abilities for both offensive and defensive strategies.

Wizard and High Wizard players who are level 99 can elect to change to Warlock. Becoming a 3rd job allows the player to continue leveling beyond level 99, up to 150.

  • Prerequisites: -
  • Type: Active / Special
  • Description: Learning Magic Books by reading them previously and seal them up. Warlocks may use the skill Release to let out the sealed spells. The number of skills you can memorize through Reading Spellbook is determined by your level of Freezing Spell. Reading Magic Books for skills that you do not currently know will cause the skill to fail and put you to sleep.

  • Description: Increase the amount of spells that can be sealed with the skill Reading Spellbook. When spells are frozen, your SP slowly drains depending on the number of spells frozen.

  • Description: Strikes a single target with magical damage, and absorb some of that damage as HP. The HP recovered is influenced by the caster's base level. The success rate varies according to the caster's job level.

  • Prerequisites: Soul Expansion LV 3
  • Type: Status Effect
  • Description: Imprisons the target temporarily behind a white magic curtain, preventing them from moving. While in this state, you cannot take damage other than ghost property attacks or attacks with fixed damage (examples: Gravitation Field, Gloria Domini). When White Imprison ends, the target takes a fixed amount of damage according to the skill level. You can cast this skill on yourself, but it will last only 5 seconds. The success rate is influenced by the user's job level.

  • Description: Curse a target with the Marsh of Abyss, slowing their movement. It also decreases the target's Evasion and Physical Defence according to the caster's INT and job level. The Evasion and Physical Defence reduction is only applied half on players.

  • Description: Summons a huge meteorite on the target, striking all targets nearby. When the meteorite hits the ground it lets out a shock wave that throws enemies back and causes stun.

  • Description: Calls a comet from space to crash down into the ground dealing huge fire element damage in a 15x15 radius. The skill causes Burning status effect, which continually deals fire element damage over time. Enemies closer to the center of the blast take increased damage. This skill requires two Warlocks together to be cast.

  • Description: Covers a 15x15 area in a freezing mist, causing damage and inflicting Freezing status Image:Freezing_Status.jpg to targets that enter. The Freezing status causes 70% Movement Speed Reduction, 30% ASPD Reduction, 50% Fixed Casting Time increasement and 30% DEF Reduction.The chance of causing the Freezing status effect varies according to the user's job level.

  • Description: Summons ether in the 4 elements, to deal magic damage of each element. Tetra Vortex requires you to have summoned one Fire Ball, Water Ball, Lightning Ball and Stone before casting or the skill will fail. Targets struck by Tetra Vortex will receive one status effect from Burning, Freezing, Stun, and Bleeding status ailments.
