American Airlines (AA), established in 1931 as American Airways, is the world’s largest airline in terms of revenue and fleet size. AA is a founding member of the Oneworld alliance and has a main hub at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) as well as eight secondary hubs at airports across the United States. The airline serves approximately 345 destinations throughout North America, the Caribbean, South America, Asia, and Europe. It has codeshare arrangements with 15 other airlines, as well as joint ventures on specific routes with British Airways, Japan Airlines, Iberia, Finnair, and Qantas. It has a fleet of 963 aircraft.
