Cooking System 

 With the coming of the cooking system, players can cook up various combinations of items to boost your stats temporarially.

Item Usage

When a cooking item is eaten, your HP and SP are recovered by a certain ammount and you stats increase by a certain amount. The higher the grade of cooking item you consume, the greater the boost to your stats. When consumed, your stats will increase for 20 minutes, and stack with existing support skills (such as blessing, increase agility, etc). If you eat several food items of the same kind, the higher level one takes precidence. Therefore, if you use a lower level food item while a higher level one is active, the low level one is ignored. To make cooking items, you will need a cooking utensil. The better it is, the higher your success to create an item. You will also need a cookbook (the recipe) of the correct level for the item you desire to make. Recipes exist for level 1-10 cooking items. You will also need to gather the required items as listed in the recipe. When under the effect of a cooking item, if you die, the bonus will remain in effect if you are ressurected. The bonus is lost if you relog or change servers.

Production

When the cooking instrument is double clicked, it will bring up a list of possible dishes that you're able to create with your existing items and recipes. Select the one you want to make, and there you go. However just like the blacksmith hammer durring weapon creation, the cooking instrument is consumed durring cooking. Its fairly easy to understand, if you think of it in terms of weapon forging (Cooking Instrument=Hammer, Recipe = Anvil, food seasoning and sauses = ores).

There is no level or job restriction for cooking. It is possible to fail durring the cooking process. The success rate of cooking is entirely dependant on the utensils you use and the difficulty of the food you're trying to produce.

Notice: Shortly after 10.3 hit korean servers, the rate of success for cooking items was raised. It is entirely possible that we will still have the low success rate when the update comes to iRo. If you have problems making food now, do not worry, because it will likely be better farther down the road.

Durring testing on kRo sakray, all the cooking items were sold in town. Keep in mind that this is NOT the case for other servers. All items are dropped by monsters unless otherwise listed.

Recipies
After completion of the cooking quest, you will be able to obtain the Level 1-5 cookbooks by trading some food items with "Charles Orleans" located in Prontera castle. The following is a list of the required items needed for "Charles Orleans" to give you a cookbook.
